At Bumnosed, we know how lucky we are to have the Aussie coast as our playground, so the last thing we want to do is contribute further to the environmental problem the fashion industry creates.
Here’s how we’re keeping things fresh, clean, and sustainable:
Rubber Done Right
100% Natural & Recycled Rubber:
Our thongs are crafted from sustainably sourced natural & recycled rubber. Our factory in Southern Thailand sources locally harvested and produced rubber from the surrounding community. No weird plastics, no BS.
Original Double Pluggers:
The only way thongs can be tough enough to handle everything from the rocky outback to sandy beach parties is our signature double pluggers. Wear ‘em, love ‘em, and when they’re done, send them back to us (more on that below).
Zero Waste
Recycling Program:
When you're done with your old thongs, send ‘em our way. We’ll recycle them and you'll receive a handy 20% off your next pair of thongs.
No Plastic Here:
We strive to be as plastic free as possible ensuring paper packaging, compostable mailers and absolutely no bubble wrap. Our stance is less is more so we keep it pretty minimal.

Carbon Conscious:
Our factories are located right in the heart of the world’s rubber plantation capital, Southern Thailand. We chose this spot intentionally to minimize shipping emissions and ensure top-notch quality from the source. Every day, we’re finding new ways to lower our carbon footprint and build a more sustainable brand.
